Officials Need Help Finding Dog That Bit Boy

Sioux Falls Police Department officials are asking for help in identifying a dog involved in a biting incident with a 12-year-old boy.

Animal Control reports an unattended dog was loose in eastern Sioux Falls and bit a boy on Saturday, May 3, at approximately 5 p.m. The dog was described as a medium to large-sized dog wearing a dark-colored collar with a pink-colored metal tag. The incident was reported near E. Archer Circle and N. Archer Drive, two blocks west of Oak View Park.

Animal Control needs to identify the dog in this incident to verify its vaccinations.  Call Animal Control at 605-367-7000 with any information.
