Officials Looking For Dog After Biting Incident

SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Sioux Falls Police Department Animal Control is requesting help in identifying a dog involved with a biting incident.

A woman was biten by a shih tzu mix with brown marking around the ears. The incident happened Saturday, May 10 at approximately 9 a.m. in the area of S. Grinnell Ave. and W. Snapdragon Dr.

The woman found an 8 to 10-year-old boy chasing the dog. She caught the dog, after which the dog bit her on the wrist. The boy also called the dog "Oreo."

Animal Control needs to identify the dog in this incident to verify its vaccinations. If you have any information on this case, call Animal Control at 605-367-7000.
