NSIC Basketball Tournament Pairings

Augustana men's basketball earned the No. 5 seed in the South Division and will be on the road in the first round of the NSIC/Sanford Health Men's Basketball Tournament. The Vikings will travel to Aberdeen, S.D., to take on the North Division's No. 4 seed Northern State on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 8 p.m.

Augustana finished the regular season at 15-13 overall, including 12-10 in NSIC play which was good to tie for ninth overall and fifth in the South Division. The Vikings tied with Sioux Falls, but owned the tiebreaker criteria by defeating the Cougars twice during the regular season.

The winner between Augustana and Northern State will go on to play the winner of the Minnesota State (No. 1 seed in the South Division) and Minnesota Crookston (No. 8 seed North Division) at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls on March 1.

The Augustana women's basketball team earned the No. 4 seed in the South Division and will host North Division No. 5 seed Minnesota State Moorhead in the first round of the NSIC/Sanford Health Women's Basketball Tournament on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 6 p.m.

Wayne State captured the NSIC overall and South Division title and will be the No. 1 seed in the South Division.  Northern State claimed the No. 1 seed in the North Division.

The winner between Augustana and Minnesota State Moorhead will face the winner of the North Division's No. 1 seed Northern State and South Division No. 8 seed Southwest Minnesota State on Saturday, March 1 at 12 p.m. at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D.
