It’s the third day of the 75th annual Sioux Empire Fair and fairgoers enjoyed sunny skies.
Today's schedule on the fair's website lists a southeast South Dakota horse show, a rodeo, live music, stick horse races, a salad contest and of course, rides. One first-time attendee had a good idea about which was his favorite.
“Um, probably the Zipper, it was...or, the spaceship one, 'cause like it really spin you and then you can like go sideways on the wall, and...it's awesome,” Josh Pickthorn said.
Monday's schedule includes cat and miniature horse shows, more live music and an amateur flower arranging contest at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds.
