New Women's Motorcycle Clothing Store

January 30, 2014, 10:30 AM by Angela Kennecke

New Women's Motorcycle Clothing Store
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

It's bound to be a popular stop before the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. A new women's motorcycle apparel business is opening in Sioux Falls.  Ride Empowered will open in the Village West Plaza on Marion Road on March 1.

Doris Schumacher is leaving her job as a financial analyst to open the store, which will cater to women motorcycle enthusiasts.

“With this business, I’m hoping to provide a greater variety of brands and products than typically found in a motorcycle shop, a variety that reaches all female riders; cruisers, sport and adventure riders, café racers and even scooter riders. In addition to that, I hope to create a network of support, encouragement and education for women that ride or are simply interested in it. We’re also going to have some fun with contests and a couple riding events," Schumacher said.

The store will carry riding gear and apparel and motorcycle related clothing and jewelry.
