New Restaurant For 41st Street

September 24, 2013, 10:26 AM by Angela Kennecke

New Restaurant For 41st Street
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

A new national restaurant franchise is coming to 41st Street in Sioux Falls.

Zoup! Fresh Soup Company will move into the old Dakota Sports location near 41st Street and Kiwanis Avenue.

The plans for the 2,200 square foot restaurant have been submitted to the city and construction is expected to start in a month.  Franchise owner Anna Clarissa Santos of Sioux Falls expects to be able to open in late November or early December.  Santos said she'll hire as many as 14 employees to start.

Santos said she and her husband are originally from Boston and tried Zoup! soups there.  They moved to Sioux Falls in 2009.

Zoup! has 100 different soup varieties and rotates 12 different flavors each day. The Michigan company continues to expand its franchise location. The Ohio architects that submitted the Sioux Falls plans say they've built a dozen around the country in the last year.
