The most important pieces of the Summit League are already in Sioux Falls.
Workers started putting in the flooring Thursday morning and still have a long day ahead of them putting on the finishing touches.
The floor arrived in about 250 pieces and crews are putting it together ahead of the Summit League Basketball Championships, which start on Saturday. The floor came pre-stained and ready to install.
This is the first new floor in 20 years at the Arena and it will be moved to the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center once that opens.
