A national convention will leave Sioux Falls with a bang.
National Fireworks Association 2013 Convention and Expo will be held at the Ramkota Hotel September 3-7.
1,100 people from the fireworks industry are expected to attend the event. It also attracts a delegation from China, Japan, Sweden and Norway.
The convention is expected to have a $1.6 million economic impact on the city.
Every night of the conference vendors will display their newest fireworks products ending with a grand finale public display at the fairgrounds September 7th, the same night as President's Bowl in Sioux Falls.
The founder of the organization is Cameron Starr of Mitchell.
