SIOUX FALLS, SD -
Sioux Falls police says a 75-year-old woman was found dead in her home Saturday afternoon and authorities are investigating her death as a homicide.
The woman's stolen car was located in Madison, Wis., and a man recently released from the South Dakota State Penitentiary was arrested after a vehicle chase.
Police identified the woman as Maybelle Schein and say she died of "obvious injuries."
Police say 41-year-old James Vernon McVay is being held in a Wisconsin jail on charges of grand theft motor vehicle, eluding and drunken driving.
