Norman Johnson

MADISON, SD - The Madison Police Department has confirmed that the victim in Tuesday night's shooting was 72-year-old Norman Johnson. 

Johnson was a Madison High School English teacher and track coach. 

Johnson's funeral will be held at Ellsworth Funeral Home.

A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday night at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Madison for those dealing with a tough time after the homicide in the community. The pastor says it will be a time for the community to come together and bring light to a dark time.
