Murder Defendant Requests Jury Questionnaire

RAPID CITY, SD -
The attorney for a New Underwood woman accused of killing her husband wants potential jurors to fill out a questionnaire before her trial in September.
Amanda Kaur is accused of shooting Ira Kaur at their home last November. Juror questionnaires are rare but are sometimes used in cases with sentences of life in prison or death.
Kaur is charged with first-degree murder. Prosecutors will not seek the death penalty for a conviction. Prosecutors allege that she shot her husband twice in the head over a six-hour period and tried to make his death look like a suicide.
