A multi-car pileup south of Brookings on Interstate 29 brought traffic to a halt for several hours Sunday afternoon.
Brookings County authorities have confirmed a pileup in the area but won't release any other information at this time.
Approximately six cars and a semi-truck were involved.
The cars slid into the ditch, windows were busted out and bumpers dented in.
We do not know if there were any injuries in this accident.
