Megan Bultsma had 14 points and six rebounds as Mount Vernon-Plankinton beat Webster Area 52-29 in a consolation game Friday at the South Dakota Class A girls basketball tournament.
Bultsma made 6 of 10 shots from the floor. As a team, the Titans (19-6) shot 45 percent from the field and made 6 of 11 shots from 3-point range. Becca Glanzer had 12 points and seven rebounds.
The Titans took a 26-7 lead at the half.
Webster (14-9) struggled from the field. The Bearcats shot 22 percent and missed all 10 of their 3-point shots.
Breamma Bullert led the Bearcats in scoring with 5.
