More Severe Weather On The Way

More Severe Weather On The Way

Many locations were able to get a breather from severe weather over the past couple of days. That is set to change as we go through the rest of this week and into the weekend.

The upper air pattern will feature another trough in the upper layers of the atmosphere. This will help spin energy our way to combine with the increase in humidity which will eventually lead to storms.

The storms will have to be watched as severe weather will be possible somewhere in KELOLAND over the next several days.  Tomorrow's risk will move a little farther east than todays. Friday's risk will continue to move east as the risk nudges up to the James River Valley. Saturday should be the end of the severe weather as eastern KELOLAND will see the brunt of the action.

Hail seems to be the main threat out of these storms over the next several days, but isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out, especially on Friday.
