More Rain In The Forecast

June 26, 2014, 6:26 PM by Scot Mundt

More Rain In The Forecast

While much of eastern and southeast KELOLAND had a chance to dry out over the past couple days, more rain is in the forecast through the weekend. Unfortunately, much of the rain will likely fall where the record June rains have already fallen, meaning more flooding is on the way.

This map shows the highest rain output in KELOLAND is centered over the southeast. While it suggests over three inches of rain can be expected through Tuesday morning, if things set up in the atmosphere like they did a couple of weeks ago the actual amounts can far exceed that.

Along with the heavy rain, severe weather is also in the forecast through the weekend.
