More Rain For Southern KELOLAND

August 26, 2014, 5:51 PM by Scot Mundt

More Rain For Southern KELOLAND

The rain returned in August; many KELOLAND locations have already topped their monthly rainfall total.  In fact, some areas have already received more than four inches with more rain on the way over the next couple of days.

Cities with more than four inches include: Faith at almost five and a half, Aberdeen at nearly five, with Mobridge and Sioux Falls not far behind.  The only city listed that is below average is Custer, but only by two hundredths of an inch.

Over the next couple of days, viewers in southern KELOLAND will have the best chance to add to their August rain totals.  Some models are spitting out heavy rain with amounts easily over two inches for the southern and southeastern third of KELOLAND.
