Through the spring and the summer there was a shortage of available homes on the market, but in July that turned around.
According to the Realtor Association of the Sioux Empire, the inventory of homes on the market went up more than 10 percent to nearly 1,700 units.
New listings were up more than five percent and pending home sales shot up 19 percent. Prices were also up with the median sales price now at $160,000.
Homes are also selling faster with the average number of days on the market dropping eight percent to 88 days.
