MONTROSE, SD -
The Montrose Area Foundation is set to receive a $25,000 matching grant from the South Dakota Community Foundation for raising $100,000 as part of a community savings challenge.
The area residents are invited to a check presentation at 6 p.m. Saturday at the American Legion Hall.
The Montrose Area Foundation was created in 2008 to support local nonprofits and charitable projects.
The fund is a permanent endowment with the South Dakota Community Foundation and managed by a local board of directors.
