A Rapid City woman charged in a sex scandal that authorities said came to light after the death of her infant daughter faces additional allegations that she photographed her sexual encounters with a teenage boy.
Twenty-eight-year-old April Solles made her first appearance Tuesday on a felony charge that she possessed, manufactured or distributed child pornography.
Solles is being held on $50,000 bond. She already faced three counts of rape and two counts of sexual contact with a child under 16.
Solles' 1-year-old daughter died of an acute head injury in December. A 14-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in
juvenile court with the child's death.
Authorities haven't said if the teens in the separate cases are the same boy.
