Mitchell Deadly Chase Suspect To Appear In Court

MITCHELL, SD -

The man accused of driving drunk and causing the crash that killed a nine-year-old Mitchell girl is expected to face a judge Thursday.

Forty-six-year-old Michael Sedlmeier has been indicted for first-degree manslaughter.

Sedlmeier had been facing several felony charges including third-offense drunk driving for the March 24 crash that killed Iszabella Morgan.

Court documents say Sedlmeier had a blood-alcohol level more than double the legal limit for driving as he led police on the pursuit.

We'll be in the courtroom for Thursday's hearing and bring you the details later today on KELOLAND News.
