Miranda Tran Due In Court
June 30, 2008, 7:13 AM
The Sioux Falls woman charged with killing her infant son is scheduled to be in court today.
Miranda Tran is expected to plead guilty to a lesser charge in order to avoid life in prison. Prosecutors say the tentative agreement will put Tran in prison for 20 to 50 years.
Court papers show Tran admitted to police she became frustrated with her four-month-old son Aiden, because he wouldn't stop crying, she shook him and slammed the back of his head to the floor three times.
