BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) - Macy Miller dominated from start to finish, scoring 40 points and grabbing 12 rebounds as Mitchell beat Sioux Falls O'Gorman 61-48 in the South Dakota Class AA girls basketball semifinals on Friday.
Miller was 13 of 19 from the field and made all 14 free throw attempts. She has 78 points in two games, leaving her three shy of the state tournament scoring record.
Taylor Volesky added 17 points and seven rebounds for the Kernals (23-1), who outscored O'Gorman 20-6 in the fourth quarter.
Dalee Stene and Peyton Bjorkman led O'Gorman with 12 points apiece.
