South Dakota college grads carry a lot of school debt.
The state is number one with the number of students who graduate with debt. However, they're in the middle of the pack when it comes to the amount of money they owe.
Minnesota and Iowa students have high debt loads as well. The study by Project Student Debt found the average student in
those states graduate with between $25,000 and $30,000 in loans.
