The newly renovated Sioux Falls YCMA is giving its member a first look at the updated wellness area before its grand opening.
The Y wants to get member feedback before opening to the public on Monday. CEO Mike Gulick says the more open, modern look and new equipment will help reward longtime members.
“I think of the many, many members who have tolerated kind of a dilapidated old building, some rundown surfaces and some antiquated equipment that stuck with us because of their loyalty and their belief in what they YMCA stands for,” Sioux Falls YMCA CEO Mike Gulick said.
The Y is still renovating its gymnasium and racquetball courts, but exercise classes will be up and running on Monday.
