Members Enjoy Improvements At Downtown YMCA
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

If you haven't been to the YMCA in downtown Sioux Falls lately, you wouldn't recognize the place.

On Monday, the Y Board of Directors showed off four brand new racquetball courts featuring new glass, new lighting and new panels.   The facility includes a stadium court with glass on two sides. That means more spectators will be able to watch matches at the Lewis tournament.

"That's how we're going to get more people involved in our sport is them seeing what's going on. Now not only do we have great facilities to play in, but we can really add to the visual, which will grow our sport," YMCA Board of Directors member Jeff Scherschligt said.

The improvements don't stop there. The Y has replaced its old, dark basketball court with a new floor and better lighting to make it a more inviting place to play.
