Meeting For Hills-Beaver Creek School Board

There will soon be a new leader in the Hills-Beaver Creek School System.
The district is expected to appoint an interim superintendent and accept the resignation its current leader at a special meeting by the school board Thursday evening.
The agenda has just a few items on it; one is to accept the resignation of School Superintendent Dave Deragish. The board is also expected to appoint an interim leader.
The school district just moved into a new multi-million dollar high school building this year after the community passed a bond.
Board members say they are trying to make up for a budget shortfall though; they will not say if the resignation is connected to that. The only comment was that the decision was a personnel matter.
