The South Dakota men fell to Western Illinois 54-53 in their Summit League Tournament debut Saturday night.
The Coyotes were led in scoring by Juevol Myles who put in 14 points. Trevor Gruis chipped in with 12 points.
Western Illinois advances to the 2nd round and will play either NDSU or UMKC. That game will be played on Monday night at 8:30 p.m.
