MBK: Sanford Pentagon Game Nationally Televised

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The November 18 men’s college basketball game between Wichita State University and the University of Memphis at the Sanford Pentagon will be televised nationally as part of ESPN’s seventh annual College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon. Tickets for the 1 p.m. game go on sale at noon on Friday at ticketmaster.com.

The College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon features more than 24 hours of consecutive coverage to mark the start of the 2014-15 season between Nov. 17 and 18. The schedule includes 17 men’s games and two women’s contests. Games begin on Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. and tip-off at least every two hours until 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 18.

While the match-up at the Sanford Pentagon and five other games will air on ESPN, the remaining telecasts can be found on ESPN2 or ESPNU. All telecasts will also be available through WatchESPN and streamed on televisions through Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Xbox 360 or Xbox One to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.

Wichita State is ranked No. 5 in ESPN.com’s preseason top-25 poll. The Shockers, who made the NCAA tournament last season, are one of 11 ranked teams playing in this year’s Marathon. Memphis was also an NCAA tournament team in 2013-14.
