The South Dakota State men’s basketball team learned on Monday that they play at Murray State in the Ramada Worldwide BracketBusters on Feb. 23, in Murray, Ky., at 7 p.m., live on ESPN2.
The Racers, members of the Ohio Valley Conference, entered the week with a 16-5 overall record and a 7-2 mark in conference play, good for the top spot in the Ohio Valley west division.
The Jackrabbits sit at 18-6 overall and 9-2 in The Summit League, tied for first place in the conference standings with North Dakota State and Western Illinois.
The game marks the first meeting between the Jackrabbits and Racers, although SDSU did already play a pair of Ohio Valley Conference teams this season, posting a 78-71 win over Tennessee State in the home opener on Nov. 13, and dropping a 76-49 contest at Belmont on Dec. 19.
