MBK: Bos Earns National Honor
VERMILLION, SD -

South Dakota junior guard Brandon Bos has been named Summit League Player of the Week as announced by College Sports Madness for the period ended Jan. 19. Bos averaged 17 points in leading the Coyotes to a pair of Summit League victories that propelled the team to the top of the standings.

Bos made a season-high four three-pointers and scored 21 points in a 69-57 win against IUPUI Thursday. He followed that up with a 13-point performance in a 14-point win against Fort Wayne, a team that entered 9-1 in its last 10 games.

Bos made 13 of 27 shots during the week and was 3 of 3 from the free-throw line. He also pulled down 10 rebounds and had three assists, two blocks and a steal.’

On the season, Bos leads the team in scoring with 13.5 points a contest. He has made 27 three-pointers, makes 86 percent of his free throws and has 45 assists.
