Many KELOLAND Schools Closed, Opening Late

Although the spring storm is gone, many schools in KELOLAND are starting late or closed on Tuesday.

You can take a look at the list of more than 85 schools by visiting our KELOLAND.com Closeline page.

The Monday storm dumped as much as ten inches of snow in northeastern South Dakota, with lesser but still-significant amounts in the west. It also shut down government offices in 16 counties and closed two Interstates.

Interstate 90 reopened between Ellsworth Air Force Base and Wall on Monday night and I-29 reopened from Brookings to the North Dakota border Tuesday morning around 7 a.m.
