A man accused of raping a child is in custody.
A warrant was issued for 29-year-old Kristopher Aslesen for first-degree rape with a victim less than 13 earlier in November. He is a convicted sex offender out of Davison County, but has ties to Sioux Falls, Garretson and Mitchell.
Aslesen turned himself into authorities at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday. KELOLAND's Don Jorgensen will have more on the investigation tonight on KELOLAND News at 5.
