Man Sentenced For Synthetic Drugs In N. Sioux City

NORTH SIOUX CITY, SD -

Sioux City, Iowa, man has been sentenced to nine years in prison for making and dealing synthetic drugs.

South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley and Union County States Attorney Jerry Miller say 30-year-old Gregory Enright got 30 years, but 21 years was suspended on certain conditions.

Charges against him include two counts of possession with intent to distribute and one count of conspiracy to possess a controlled substance with intent to distribute. He was also sentenced on one count of failure to pay sales tax.

The prosecutors say Enright manufactured and sold drugs from his North Sioux City business, Mr. Yuck's.

The investigation netted over 8 kilograms of synthetic cannabinoid powder, over 100 pounds of plant material and more than 10,000 1 to 5 gram bags of "K2".
