May 26, 2010, 5:07 PM
The Fort Pierre man who admitted to stealing and abusing a rodeo horse is going to jail for 15 days.
But the judge in the case wants Flint Dahl to remember what he did, so Dahl will serve five days at a time every 4th of July for the next three years, the anniversary of the incident.
Dahl was charged with felony grand theft and inhumane treatment of Dually, a rodeo barrel-racing horse taken last July 5 from the Stanley County Fairgrounds. The horse was later found with several injuries.
