A Pennsylvania man seeking to raise money for a group that helps post-9/11 veterans has come through northwestern Iowa.
Ivan Stoltzfus, of Honey Brook, Pennsylvania, is in the midst of a 3,100-mile trip across the country on a John Deere tractor to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project. On Thursday, his trip took him through Le Mars.
Stoltzfus' goal is to raise $1 million for the organization, which provides services to post-9/11 veterans, service members and their families.
The drive from Manasquan, New Jersey, to Crescent City, California, will take him almost four months. He began on April 26.
