A person led police through three eastern South Dakota counties Sunday night during a high speed chase.
Sioux Falls police say officers tried to pull over a man involved in an DCI investigation around 8 p.m. Sunday night near 49th and Western. The driver refused to stop.
Authorities say the man made several traffic violations and because of his erratic behavior, they stopped the pursuit after only a minute.

The high speed chase was picked up by deputies in Lincoln County near Tea. But from there the man drove west into Turner County.
Deputies say they lost sight of him in Marion. The Turner County Sheriff’s office says they have called off the search for now on this man.
Police won't go into specifics into why they were looking for the suspect.
