A Starbuck, Minnesota, man accused of driving drunk and causing the crash that killed a Minnesota coach's son has been sentenced to four years in prison.
Thirty-eight-year old Dana Schoen was sentenced Friday in Pope County.
Under a plea deal, Schoen pleaded guilty in December to three counts of criminal vehicular operation.
Schoen must submit to random drug and alcohol testing, and remain out of bars and liquor stores as part of his sentence.
Schoen admitted being four times over the legal limit last July when his pickup collided with an SUV carrying Southwest Minnesota State University men's basketball coach Brad Bigler.
Bigler's 5-month-old son, Drake, was killed. Bigler was critically injured. His wife, Heather, who was driving the SUV, and her grandmother also were hurt.
