Man Charged In Western Iowa Sex Assault
STORM LAKE, IA -

Storm Lake police have arrested a man they had been seeking on suspicion of sexually assaulting a Storm Lake woman.

18-year-old Edgar Saul Moreno-Leiga, of Sioux Rapids, was arrested Sunday on a charge of third-degree sexual assault. Police had asked the public for help in finding Moreno-Leiga, and he turned himself in at the police station Sunday evening.

Officers responded to a Storm Lake home about 11 p.m. Wednesday, where a woman said Moreno-Leiga had sexually assaulted her.

Moreno-Leiga could not be reached for comment on Tuesday.
