Man Arrested For Multiple Alcester Area Burglaries

ALCESTOR, SD -
A 19-year-old is man is in custody in connection with multiple burglaries in the Alcester, South Dakota, area in the summer of 2011.
Aaron Lappegard of Alcester and a teenage boy are accused of damaging property and stealing from several businesses.
Lappegard and the teenager targeted the Alcester Golf Course, the Alcester-Hudson High School, multiple Alcester churches, the Alcester Senior Center and property at the Union County 4H Grounds.
They also attempted to break into the Alcester City Pool and Total Stop.
The Union County Sheriff's Office announced the arrests on Thursday.
