CASTLEWOOD, SD -
Hamlin County authorities arrested a man for a DUI and drugs after he ended up in the ditch early Friday morning.
Authorities received a call about a vehicle in the ditch on Interstate 29 just north of Castlewood around 1 a.m. Friday.
After arriving to the scene and investigating, officers arrested the driver, a 21-year-old Aurora man, for DUI and possession of marijuana.
Along with Hamlin County, the Deuel County sheriff’s department also assisted in the call.
