Man Arrested Following Sunday Night Crash

August 4, 2014, 5:51 AM by Brandon Van Westen

Man Arrested Following Sunday Night Crash
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

One man is under arrest after a three-vehicle crash that sent several people to the hospital.

Just after 9 p.m. Sunday, a pick-up truck ran out of control and crashed into a van near 12th Street and Marion Road.

Ashley Farrar, of Berryville, AR, was a passenger in the van. She said the driver of the van hurt his back and the front passenger got his leg pinned in the door by the force of the impact. Both were taken to the emergency room. The passengers in the van were members of a Baptist church from Arkansas on a mission trip in Sioux Falls.

The 20-year-old pickup driver was arrested on a drunken driving charge.
