Lowe Concedes Democratic Gubernatorial Primary

RAPID CITY, SD -

Joe Lowe concedes the Democratic Gubernatorial Primary just before 11 p.m. CDT

Lowe wasn't ready to concede the Democratic nomination to Susan Wismer immediately after the Associated Press called the race in Susan Wismer's favor.

Lowe was waiting on final results from several West River precincts Tuesday night.  He said his campaign was closing the gap slightly as more western precincts reported, but he added that the results probably were not enough to give him a victory.

Lowe told KELOLAND News he should have sent out direct-mail fliers as part of his campaign, in addition to television and newspaper ads.
