Loverboy Helps Kickoff Four Days Of Music At RibFest
Mike Reno

SIOUX FALLS, SD -

A Canadian invasion hits Sioux Falls this week during the kickoff of RibFest.

The first band takes the stage at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds at 4 p.m. Thursday.  All of the acts on the first day, including headliner Loverboy, hail from Canada.

Loverboy lead singer Mike Reno says fans will hear all of their favorite songs.

"The 14 songs, we couldn't get away without playing them.  Otherwise people from Sioux Falls would run us out of town on a rail.  So, we're going to play all of the hits and luckily for us, we have a lot of them," Reno said.

Proceeds from this year's RibFest will benefit the Brennan Rock & Roll Academy. Tickets are now on sale.
