Longer Driver Licensing Office Hours Approved

Longer hours may help combat long waits to get your driver's license.  The Minnehaha County Commission approved a motion to extend the Drivers Licensing Office's hours in the county building to 7 pm.

Sheriff Mike Milstead said there were security concerns about keeping the office open while others are shut down.  However, there will be a security officer present.

This comes a week after the Commission decided to evict the office, citing space and noise issues.
