Area leaders are praising area businesses that employ individuals with disabilities.
Today they dubbed several businesses "disability-friendly" including Camille's Sidewalk Cafe, Hy-Vee and Lowes.
Business Resource Network Executive Director Julie Briggs says a job can be a big source of pride for everyone.
"And so a person with a disability isn't any different and they have skills and they have talents, and so, we want to make sure we're utilizing those to make the community a better place," Briggs said.
