Lloyd Unveils Plans For Historic Campus
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Lloyd Companies has prepared development plans for the former School for the Deaf campus. 10th Street Commons would include two historic buildings being remodeled into affordable housing and two exisiting buildings to be used as office space.

Lloyd also plans to build a new retail center along 10th Street. The second phase of the project calls for 23 two-story townhomes off of South Mable Avenue.  The company also has a purchase agreement with the Communication Services for the Deaf for the buildings and more than seven acres of land. The asking price was $4.5 million. Lloyd estimates it could spend $10 million on the makeover of the complex. The multi-use plan goes before the City Planning Commission on Wednesday, Sept. 3.
