The Lincoln County Commission got a look at the damage today after massive flooding washed out county roads and bridges.
While the dollar amount is still not exact, the county estimates it will easily have more than the $1.2 million in damage it will need for a FEMA Disaster Declaration.
We got a significant amount of rebuilding to do in order to get the roads back in shape like they were," Lincoln County Commissioner Dennis Weeldreyer said.
The county is looking at hiring contractors for different jobs, including the massive repairs needed on Highway 135 near Lake Alvin. Those repairs are estimated to cost around $150,000.
