Left Turn Saturation Patrol Called A Success

SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Sioux Falls police are calling this weekend's saturation patrol a success.

In all, 22 officers were out all day Saturday, including four Highway Patrol troopers. The main goal was to crackdown on illegal left turns.

Police wrote out 310 traffic citations, including more than 100 speeding tickets.

Police are planning the next saturation patrol for New Year's Eve.
