SIOUX FALLS, SD -
It may not feel like fall outside, but homeowners in Sioux Falls can now drop their leaves and branches off at locations on the east and west side of town.
The leaf drop off is off to a slow start Saturday but this pile is expected to get much bigger. The city's two sites are located off of East Chambers Street and on North Lyons Boulevard, west of the Sioux Empire Fairgrounds.
The drop off sites will be open through the end of November. The cost to drop off leaves and branches is two dollars per carload. All loads must be tarped or in an enclosed vehicle.
