Kruthoff To Be Tried As An Adult

June 19, 2014, 4:33 PM by Brady Mallory

Kruthoff To Be Tried As An Adult
Trevor Kruthoff

The teen that pulled the trigger and killed a Sioux Falls man during a botched robbery attempt, will be tried as an adult.

Trevor Kruthoff admits he shot and killed 20-year-old Jordan LeBeau in Sioux Falls in December.

Kruthoff was 17 years old at the time. His attorneys had motioned for Kruthoff to be tried as a juvenile. In his nine page decision, Judge Bradley Zell denied the motion, because he believes Kruthoff is "a danger to the public".

In his letter he states Kruthoff had "numerous opportunities" to stop, and that he "chose" to pull the trigger twice."
